Junior Area
Let's explore the Junior Area which is for kids below 90 cm of height.
I love the Junior Area! The big bouncy castle is so much fun to play with and there is a small little slide suitable for toddlers, a little house with building blocks and a few sensory boards to play with. This is certainly enough to entertain your toddlers for quite a while! There are also comfy counter seats for parents to rest and relax while watching their children play.
The Volcano
This volcano is a hit with my boys as well! Let's treat is as a warm-up before they venture off to the main play area!
Main Play Area
There are 3 slides at the main play area. Strictly speaking, the 1 at the left isn't really a slide but you are still able to slide down and then bounce a bit so maybe this can cater to kids who are less adventurous.
Let us bring you around the main play area......
Let us bring you around the main play area......
Well, as I was the one who filmed the walk through, I can only say that the main play area is NOT suitable for adults at all. It's so straining even for me, who only stands at 153 cm, as I was crouching down most of the time.
But no worries, if you can't play with them, then chill out at the cafe!
Chillax area
The cafe is really cozy and their menu includes a wide variety of food like pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and finger food. There is free flow of regular brewed coffee or tea if you are holding the Waka Waka pass.
This area which is just beside the cafe is for their performance which is held on Saturdays.
Waka Adventure Cove
This is something unique! You can try the rope, wall or totem adventure here! However, additional charges apply.
Others
They have really nice and clean toilets within the playground. This is really a bonus!
If you need to change diapers or nurse, I'm sorry to tell you that you have to do it in the toilet for the handicapped. I walked around a few times and even checked with one of the staff and it is CONFIRMED that this is the one and only nursing room (cum toilet). Very disappointing!
Nice victorian style changing table......but.........did you see that chair? So they expect mothers to nurse their babies sitting in that chair, which is placed just beside the toilet bowl? No, I'm not going to do that.
So I just nurse at the chillax area......where the adults eat too......
I think we still have a long way to go to educate Singaporeans about breastfeeding....do you know that nursing room isn't the same as a toilet? It should be a room specially set aside for nursing mothers.
Others
They have really nice and spacious safari themed party rooms so it's worth considering!
Check out their very creative birthday party packages. I'm particularly intrigued by the Taekwondo Theme party! What about you?

Last but not least, a video to walk through the whole of Waka Waka @ Annex Furama! It's my personal preference to have an overview of a new place because it allows me to foresee any problems should I be bringing all my boys there alone. Hope it helps you too!
Bye Waka Waka! We had a great time playing and Rayden is feeling moody because he has to leave...
