Bento #169 - (Anyhow) Roast Chicken

Prepared (anyhow) Roast Chicken for the boys today. Why anyhow? Because I didn't follow any recipe and anyhow marinate but it turned out pretty decent.

Roast Chicken
Serving for 2


  • Place 2 boneless chicken thighs in a baking dish and rub them evenly with some black pepper and garlic powder. Add some olive oil also.
  • Mix 1.5 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp maggi seasoning and some mix herbs and thyme in a bowl - (A)
  • Pour mixture (A) onto the chicken thighs and marinate overnight
The next morning.......

  • Cut 1 potato and 1 carrot into small chunks and slice 4 mushrooms, add them into the baking dish with the chicken thighs
  • Preheat oven at 180 - 200 deg
  • Place the baking dish into the oven and bake for 1 hour at 180 - 200 deg
  • When it's done, I turned the oven to top fire for about 5 min to brown the chicken skin
